My name is John D Bruce and I create art using metal and stone! Some label me as a jeweler, but I prefer to think of myself as a metalsmith/artisan or as a fine craftsman/artist. Even though I have been practicing my craft for over 30 years, I continue to learn new techniques and refine my abilities with every project.

My Process

My designs are inspired by nature, music, art, people … almost anything. Once I have decided on a theme, I sketch my ideas and refine them into a motif for a piece of jewelry or an objet d’art. I develop a plan to realize my design using metal, stone and all my skills. When done, I have completed a quality, one-of-a-kind piece that brings joy to life!
